Be Who You Were Created to Be

This is lettering project was prompted by Lauren Hom's #homwork challenge. I was to letter a note to self, something I wanted to be reminded of everyday. I chose: Be who you were created to be. This phrase is important to me because it reminds me that I was created for a purpose--to glorify God in the way He ordained for me. We are all created with different personalities, gifts, abilities, and roles. We each need to embrace these unique things about ourselves. I tend to fall into the comparison trap sometimes. But by comparing myself to others I am basically being ungrateful for the gifts that I've been given. Photo by Breana Elliott.
